One last one to add to the bunch for West Village Provisions. The blueberries have me thinking about Maine - and looking forward to our trip there later this summer....

Tomorrow will probably be spent doing some framing and prep work for the Creative Haverhill pop-up shop on Saturday. Once again, it will be at the Wingate Street Block Party in downtown Haverhill - Saturday, June 2nd, 12-4pm. I plan to have a bunch of my smaller paintings on display at what looks like a fun event!

Funny how all my paintings lately have been in little series. I think it is just how my brain works - I get one idea, then another, and another, and I just want to try them all! I don't seem to be able to paint fast enough or have enough hours in the day to keep up with the ideas in my head.....

Oh, the potential of a flower bud!
From that tight bashful little bundle emerges such resplendent beauty - the miracle amazes me every time.

This painting will be going to a call for art tomorrow (yikes!) with Flustered. I hope to have more details if the paintings are accepted.

I have been really enjoying doing these 10x8 floral "portraits" - I hope to do some more when I am between other projects. And irises....ALWAYS more irises......   ;-)

I delivered the two paintings yesterday for the Small Works Show at Gallery 55. A very, very cool space. I'm excited about the show - looks like it is going to be great!
