I thought the pear in back looked a little surprised at the antics of the one in front ;-)
These pieces are fun to do - the handling of the acrylic on the watercolor paper is a little tricky. I think I am handling them similarly to watercolors, but having very little watercolor experience, I can't say that for sure! But it is very different from working on board or canvas.

I love the way you placed the two pears in the space...and your title makes it perfect.
I am a huge fan . . . after ten years of not painting, you certainly did not loose your skills. Your talent is amazing. The fact that your canvases are so small, seems to me to be way more difficult . . . what are your thoughts? Connie :)

I started working small when I first returned to painting because I was too intimidated by the idea of working large - it seemed like such a big commitment! Small just seemed more doable - and since I have a very small space in the corner of my kids' playroom to work, it just seemed practical as well. It definitely has its own set of challenges, but I find I really enjoy it still. Funny how working 8x10 seems big now! ;-)
