I finished framing and packaged these three paintings and sent them off to West Virginia. Of course I forgot to take a picture of them framed! I like the way they look together, and I am looking forward to doing more paintings to add to the series.
The theme of the exhibition is Parks & Recreation. I hope that people feel that they fit the theme.....even though it makes sense in my head, I'm never quite sure what people are going to think!

Debbie...I commented when you first put these on your blog but I must say it again...I absolutely love this series...I feel so many emotions when I look at these paintings....they make me laugh...they make me think of my childhood...my childrens childhood...and they even scare me a little!

Hey Debbie ;o) I am sure everyone is going to like them! Even if they are a little scary! LOL! But, that's good, art is suppose to get emotions out of people ;o) They make me smile too ;o) I'm thinking of all the good treats you get at the fairs! Yummy! Take Care!
They are all wonderful, I can't imagine them not falling in love with your work! :)
I love the carousel horse! Beautiful work!
Aww - thank you all! It's always a little scary to send a bunch of paintings out there into the world ;-) I really appreciate the kind comments.
And Stacy, hmmm, treats from the fairs....that may give me another idea ;-)
(sorry - I deleted my comment above - too many typos!)
